I had an amazing experience singing at the long center rollins theater this past weekend as part of justin sherburn’s MONtopolis. they are a modern classical ensemble. i was especially proud to sing an original song by izzy cox. i felt so much awe singing in front of the 3 person string section;there was just so much love everywhere. my singing has grown and changed forever. =)

i’ve decided to come out to the world as bisexual/pansexual. it’s a part of myself that was easy to hide, or straight-wash. for years because i could pass as straight and did because i feared homophobia in my family and community. i’m still a bit afraid, but i think not being myself would be sending a message to the world that it’s ok to hide who you are because of fear. im too strong for that. the world is too good for that. love yall!

Hey World. our blondiebearambition tour was excellent. the audiences were terrific and loving and i cant wait to get back out there. im putting some shows together in florida for early january and i cant wait to see the good people down there. i hope you’re all safe from the HURRICANES and taking shelter with your loved ones.

tomorrow, after much finagling (sp?), im getting my very own upright piano. im so excited i feel like i might fall down. those ivories are gonna be laffing so hard because im gonna tickle em so derned mucho.

John Donofrio (ugly horse pictures) directed a sick video for "daughter" and we put it out yesterday. we watched it on a projector at dozen street and later on the wall of my apartment (wifiatnobo)! With assistance from Lauren Bishop and xavier cisneros, i think we made a mighty art and a comment on #metoo. #take9 please enjoy and share with your pets!

What a day people! I sang some scratch vocals for a butter commercial audition and got really miley cyrus about it. then i wrote a song, walked the dog, put air in my tires, and even took out the trash! #proudofme ANyways, about to start primping for my show tonite at the 'doz and im feeling really happy.

I don't have any tour dates coming up. I've been busy in fashion school, working, and producing a record for my friend neal pollack. i've been writing a song a week for my residency and getting acquainted with my awesome synthesizer! oh yeah, also i've been planning my wedding to sweet gary newcomb! oh joyous day! I hope i'll be out on the road again in the spring and summer, but for now it's nose to the grindstone texas life for me.

Hope you're having a kickin' new year so far! =)

P.s. Austin Chronicle named "When I Come down" one of the top 10 albums of 2017 in a listy thing!

p.p.s- Austin Mayor Steve Adler was at a gig recently and he told me he "loved the music". Then i poked him on facebook! Pressdog and Gary were there! (Thanks Rachel Stone!)

10/2/17

Well we did it. Gary and I played like 55 shows in 25 states in the last 3 months and it was amazing. it was epic, beautiful, hot, stormy, earthquakey, musical adventure. Thank you sincerely to everyone who came along, tapped a toe, bought the new album, and gave generous words of love! Can't wait to do it all again.

So jazzed to have received a four star review in the austin chronicle and to have received your drunk photos of you singing "All we are" with your cats.

i am writing a song a week prepping for the next recording, working on a song for an izzy cox tribute album, and continuing my residency at the bad ass dozen street in austin every thursday 6-8 central live and on concert window. hope to see you there or in my dreams!
